Taiwan Pavilion curated by the Architectural Department of Tunghai University for the 18th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, will be
exhibited at Palazzo delle Prigioni in Venice, Italy, from May 20 to November 26, 2023. It showcase our interpretation of the theme 'Diachronic Apparatuses of Taiwan – Architecture as on-going details within landscape', with an interesting perspective from agricultural landscape to architecture.

By examining case studies from around the four corners through Taiwan with different agricultural landscapes, it informs us about the potentials, opportunities, and values of rural architecture. The exhibition will show how they became the clues and paths of developing and creating sustainable landscapes and sustainable buildings for the rapidly changing futures. We believe that architecture is more than just a building or piece of land, but rather, is the sum of the lives and experiences of its people, a complex of habitations, built over time that often spans generations.
